Description: This is a memorial tattoo for my Dad, the firefighters that died on 9/11 in New York City and for my time on the department. 1.The helmet is black because my Dad never wore anything but a black helmet. 2. The TWFD on the top of the shield is for the fire department that we both served on. Town of Waukesha Fire Department. 3. Inspector on the bottom of the shield as my Dad was the Fire Inspector when he passed away. 4. 343 in the middle of the shield for the 343 firefighters that died on 9/11. 5. The shield is red because when I left the department I was a Captain and wore a red helmet. Some departments use the color of the shield to denote rank so that is why I did it here. 6. The words "Never Forget" in flames underneath.......well because I will never forget any of it..
