Custom design by Gotch, after discussing some ideas I had. Basically, I wanted an Oni, with some traditional elements (the Kanabo spiked club, the tiger pants). But I wanted the design to be contrary to typical Oni you see in Japanese art. Rather than the silly creatures, I wanted him to be strong and basically badass.
The lines and shading is exactly why I chose this artist. His lines look almost like paintbrush strokes sometimes. It's a total one-of-a-kind tattoo and it's nice knowing that nobody has one even remotely similar :) |
