Certifications:
B.S. in biology, bbp. heptitisis vacinations, bbp certification renewed yearly, have not been issue a new health department cerificate as we have a entire new set of laws in place and they have not decided on how or when a certificate will be availible in my county or its fee. for the last 4-5 years i have been foolishly regulated by ATF which was about as stupid a move as i have ever seen, as it was deemed that tattooing was a form of adult entertainment. thankfully the state and county health department are back in control. i have a certificate to operate legally from the city i work in.
I became an artist because:
when i started things were a bit different then they are today, a tattooo was more of a statement of one's idenity and not a fashion statement as they often are today. there was a tradition involve and it intriged me what could be possible on one's skin and i wanted to push the envolope. these days i have slow down quite a bit and operate a closed studio tattooing by appointment only for the last few years that i am able to work before i am simply to old.
