I started getting tattoos:
Wanted to be a pirate.
First homestyle tattoo was at age 5, First pro tattoo was at 15.
Cover-ups of the homejobs started at about 17 yrs of age. All, but one of them are gone now... I keep it to remind me of foolish youth.
I started getting piercings:

Pirced my ears at 4 years of age, then when punk hit in the late 70\'s early 80\'s I pierced my neck.... It actually healed well and I had it for 3+ years even though it was done in a very bad manner. |

Color Bombs... and abstraction blended with realism.
Awards I've Won:
Used to do about 15+ shows a year... so ya, got some worthless awards.
Hide them and never look at them people. It will make you think of what you have done instead of what you are doing.
Concentrate on the now. Trophies are about yesterday.
Plus ---- so many conventions exist these days that the awards don't show crud. I still like the tattoo of the day compititions though... That one is about the moment and is on even ground. Good stuff.
Certifications:
I am a drop out. Still keep my APT thingy up though. I like what they stand for. I think everybody should support the APT and take the PDT class every couple of years.
I became an artist because:
I liked the movie Papillon and I had been raised to be an artist (painter) so I guess the 2 things crossed somehow.
