Im not industry recognised, my art began as a hobby ideally for those around me who couldnt afford a tattoo...
Certifications:
None. In New Zealand tattooists are required to display a licence that needs to be applied for and renewed annually from the district health board, but no necessary certification is needed to practice tattooing. This may sound dodgy and close to uninviting... but I've been freelancing by word of mouth.
I became an artist because:
It just happened. I was the kid that sat in the back of class sketching and coloring instead of paying attention to algebra... classmates actually gave up lunch money for my past-time-art, and it was when a senior asked for a taulima (armband) tattoo that my gift for body canvas art took its path.
