I started getting tattoos:
Because I have always loved tattoos. When my hubby Andy and I married he already had a rose w/ scroll tattoo on his upper arm. During our first konth of marriage he came home one day to surprise me. He had my name tattooed into that empty scroll. Well, three grown children, a 5 y/o grandson and 26 years later I decided it was finally time to put Andy's name on me, so its now my first tattoo. It is a burgundy rose tipped in white with the words Andy Baby beneath it. Its small but I just love it and cannot wait to get another tattoo. I think maybe maybe they might have created a monster.
I started getting piercings:
Because at the tender age of 14 it was the cool thing to do. So my Aunt Marilyn froze my earlobes using ice cubes then pierced them using a sewing needle that she sterilized with a lighter. I didn't even feel it. Several years later I had second holes put in each ear at a professional shop. |
