Love of the medium! I love that a tattoo can & often does mean so many things, or even just nothing at all. In the early years it was also about shock value and rebellion.

I like tattooing:
I don't have a particular favorite. I prefer to work freehand, stenciling seems so....non-Art, way more of a technical method in my mind. I do use them from time to time but only on occasion.
Certifications:
none offered in my state for this field.
I became an artist because:
1st of course is the passion for the medium, I have been fascinated all my life with inkwork. I am a well practiced Artist in most all mediums with over 2000 hrs classroom time in Art & 30+ years of creating Art. Working in the tattoo medium began in earnest June '08. For years people have asked me (on the basis of my other mediums) if I did tattooing. For many years a lot of people have asked me to, encouraged me to, make the jump into (in my opinion) the highest form of Art. Art is my soul, tattooing a great passion, and now it is my life as well. For better or worse.
