A woman lost
addicted at best
Angry and hurt
with the world on her chest
Beaten up and then down
So low...so much pain
She hated yet loved
her sick,sinful ways
The streets were her friend
And always her foe
Till one day
she found herself
So sad
and alone
She looked over
to a friendly hand
That led her a in prayer
God took that pathetic mess
Freed her soul
From Satan's Lair
Life isn't always beautiful
Sometimes right choices
Pass her by
Life isn't always fair
But she knows he's always
by her side
She looks at the scars
Across her wrists
And remembers
The days
She stole and lied
And she knows if not for her familys prayers
She surely would have died
Now she's thankful for every breath she takes
Every flower
And the big blue sky
Every tear
The ocean on a sunny day
Her little daughter's cries
Joy is precious
And Life is grand
She's been set free & been redeemed
Thank God she got a second chance
Only now is she truly free
