Many reasons, such as, I think it is a genuine natural talent and some designs are simply amazing, I love the novelty of having a new tattoo to add to my ever growing collection, but the main reason is that when people spend their money on clothes, shoes, nights out etc, eventually they won't own those things anymore and they will have nothing to show for the money they have spent, whereas a tattoo stays with you forever. You will always have something to show for the money you have spent.
