I like tattooing:
I love natural or fantasy subjects; animals, dragons, flowers, etc. I thoroughly enjoy working with color, but black and grey is a lot of fun too.
I became an artist because:
When I began working for the Psychedlic Shack I inquired about becoming a tattoo artist because I felt it would be an excellent avenue for my art. I'd taken every art class possible in highschool and several college courses. However I was discouraged from it by another female artist and I decided not to request an apprenticeship from the tattoo manager.
I continued working as a counter person and would bring my art to work with me. Years passed and new artists came to work for us and we would spend our days drawing and giving each other pointers, critiques and whatnot. One of those artists inspired me to request an apprenticeship again and the tattoo manager agreed.
