Okay, don't know if any of you ladies, (or gentlemen for that matter) care or watch Sex and the City, but I just got back from the movie and I'm dying to talk to someone else (other than my girls, who I just spent 2 hours over dinner disscussing ith with.) about it Very Happy

I give it 3 and a half stars Very Happy

I spent a good four months being forced to watch this show hour after hour by egotistical fashion majors...

The theme song gives me a headache now.

I can't believe they turned this into a movie...

ha ha. Thats actually how I got sucked in, my roomie in college was an "apparel design major" (if you called her a fashon major she got all pissy and whiny about how fashion major made her sound stupid...) but its cool, not everyone likes the same things, if we all did, the world would suck Very Happy

Sex in the city was never all that good for me, usually it was behind a dumpster, and the crack whore would never do what she promised for the $5 I gave her.

havent seen it, ill either wait til its been in the theaters a couple weeks and use my $6 movie coupons (great price right!?) OR wait til it comes out on netflix.

However... haha and this will be good for a laugh for all of you.... My boyfriend got roped into going with a group of his college friends to see it b/c one girl "wanted to go see it with all her college friends since thats when she used to always watch the show" needless to say he was miserable... he sent me a text at midnight saying how it was a waste of money, effort to drive all the way to MD (45 mins to an hour) and time he could have spent sleeping since he had to get up at 5:30 this morning to go to work.
So in other words... Most guys that see it go with their girlfriend so they know they are going to get laid that night when they get home, my boyfriend went with friends while I hung out with my roommate haha i find it more than a little ammusing

Pretty much. My wife's even told me so. This movie is like a slam dunk. It's like Purple Rain. I've always said if you took a girl to see Purple Rain in the theater and didn't get laid, it was you're own fault.

Oh, definitely. I'm not knockin' it. Very Happy It's just that every time I hear Sarah Jessica Parker talk, I have this phantom high pitched giggle and "OHMAHGAHD" in my head. Laughing

Especially with the Darling Nikki speaker humping scene. Pure magic.
