A month ago I had two cats in home, which I really loved, and love.
One of them has ten years by now, and the other one had one and a half.
At mid-june I realized that he couldn't breath correctly anymore.
I went to the vet and hours later he said to me it was leukemia.
Some days passed and he couldn't even sleep anymore. He was not eating, not drinking.
I decided what I thought it was the best for him, and I said the vet to put him the injection June 25th.
Even notbeing able to breathe without pain, he spent his last night on my bed, as he always did trough his life.
He gave me a lot and I decided to remember him by tattooing something on me. I started seeking for celtic cat designs the same day the vet said me what he had. Spent about two weeks finding the perfect design for me: simple and meaningful. When I found it, I went to a tattoo shop I was told good of and spoke the artist what I exactly wanted.
I was made the tattoo few days ago. You could like it or not, but It's exactly what I wanted. Here is the cat, and here are some photos from the tattoo.
Finally, sorry for having to read this entire thing, sorry for my terrible english, and really thanks for your time. 
p.d: Someone may think that i'm a fool for having such feelings for a cat, but well, i sincerely don't give a damn, I'm mature enough not to think about what others think or say.

Yeah she's right, although I didn't think anybody could guess that .
And yes, it was also a place where I could hide it easily, since I wanted a tattoo just for me; I really didn't think it twice: meaningful and "hidden". |

I really like the tattoo, and love the idea of it being on your "lap". |

i think what you did was very nice indeed....anyone who's ever known a cat will agree, i'm sure....or a dog, or any special pet that we call our friends....the tattoo is very unique, like your cat, i'll bet....and the placement is perfect....no point having a cat tattoo that means something to you without having the right placement....good for you for doing what you feel in your heart....

I don't personally care for the way that the tattoo is weighted really heavily in some places, the just the outline weight lines in others, but thats just me. Other than that, its cool.
