Christopher Lee Espinoza, a young concept and story producer will merge from behind the production desk and not only Produce the reality project called TATS! but he will also direct it. I worked with Christopher Lee many times out here in the NY area and will have the distinct pleasure of working on his new pilot "Tour Dancer" which is set to shoot during the spring of 09'.

Below is the full article:

After years of hiding behind the scenes, one of the film industries youngest and most ingenious minds, has recently opted to no longer remain a hidden gem. From commercials and music videos to feature films and reality tv comes, Christopher Lee Espinoza.
Christopher Lee Espinoza, 23, remains to be one of the most anonymous members of the film industry, but continues to successfully navigate behind the scenes to international work in foreign countries with little accreditation but rather with his reputation to guide his way.
As we do our research about this young film veteran we find little to no work in his name, nor do encounter people that respond to the name "Christopher Lee Espinoza" or the industry given nickname "23". In a recent conversation with a woman who wishes to remain unidentified, she states "Christopher Lee, works with the decision makers of any given project, he comes in the back door and exits through the back door. You have to respect a persons need for privacy, in fact I respect him more for being so humble. I have had the pleasure of working along side Christopher Lee on countless occasions and never once was I left with anything feeling short of awe and amazement. He truly knows his craft and has a flare that has yet to be released to the public."
Christopher Lee has been working in the film industry for an unsaid amount of time and when we ask he replies, "The time in which I have spent working means little to the amount of work I have accomplished. We all have to start somewhere and most of what I have accomplished had in fact been accomplished due to having the proper motivation and having those I love by my side."
"Tats!" is a new form of reality show meant for the younger generation who enjoys shows about spoofing and scaring their contestants. "Tats! when I first had the concept I knew it had a strong potential. It was silly to think about getting a tattoo and finding out that I didn't want it later down the road. However, the thought of getting a tattoo I didn't ask for, OH MAN! I would flip out, especially since I have many tattoos".
He has spent the past years working in the USA but has also been working in England and in spots all over Japan. When asked about a rumor regarding a very high profile job offered to him by Tokyo, that he rejected, Christopher Lee sits there and shakes his head "No Comment".
So, after all these years of necessary privacy and the need to hide oneself and the work that has been accomplished the question remains, Why are you coming out from your behind the scenes role, and why with this production?"
"To answer your second question, I have always been more of a Band-Aid. I was brought in to help when there was a problem, negotiate a deal, flush out a few concept matters, or just give my opinion. Rarely would I bring a production to the table, most of my own projects were commercials, and even when those were on my slate I would always bring people in to make sure the production was completed. I just passed the work off and did my bid, like a Band-Aid, there to help until all is well, then I move on. My reason for wanting to now get some of the lime light is simple, it's time and it is as simple as that. Now, to answer your second question, why this project? Actually, this project was originally meant to be a web series. The structure of the show was meant to be 4-6 minutes in length, and after word got out about me shooting a show, people I work with regularly convinced me that this had more potential as a lengthy production, and so it began."
He also talks about the legal issues that have already arise in a first attempt at shooting the show pilot. "A test shoot to the pilot, my lawyers and I discussed possible problems that may arise, and sure enough everything we planned for had paid off. A contestant wants to hold us responsible for “Lying”, however, we cannot be held responsible for any acquisitions that have been made and will continue on ahead as planned."
Putting the legal problems the production has endured, "Tats!" will continue and has been reworked with all kinks set aside.
Continuing to pry into future projects that Christopher Lee has in development and other works he is working on, he simply smirks and give us nothing. When we reference the rumor to productions "Jobless" and "Chameleon", he gives a mysterious smirk as he gets up from the table and walks out of the small coffee shop and says one word "Soon".
Christopher Lee, 23, lives up to his reputations of being, intelligent, mysterious, and humble. After my meeting with Christopher Lee, I feel as though we will soon see more of this young filmmaker and possibly see a new wave of work that is yet to be established.
