Maybe that was Bobby Goldsboro. God, I hadn't heard that name in 35 years or more. Some of y'all are old farts like me.

I'm going to say I was very, very, very young then. I'm talking with a buddy the other day, he's 34, and he's telling me how he's going to see Cheech & Chong. And how cool it was and how he remembered watching Cheech & Chong when he was little. "Watching" Cheech & Chong? We "listened" to Cheech & Chong, on albums. I'm old, shit!

Two of my friends went to see them and loved it. Said it's all the old stuff just reworked a bit to be more relevant.

I remember actually using the giant rolling paper which came with Cheech and Chong's album "Big Bambu".

I've heard it came in little baggies that didn't have a self-sealing ridge across the top, but instead a little integrated "pocket" that permitted the user to wrap the bag around itself. Rolling Eyes

I'm a young guy(30) but grew up smoking with guys 20 years my senior. Most people my age wouldnt know what a lid is either...

I identify alot more with older smokers. I like doing it old school. I like dubes. Never been into the whole blown glass thing. I have a bong, but if trying to conserve pot isnt an issue, I just much prefer rolling a fattie.

Another old vs new thing is I always take note when I see a guy snort a hit. I have always done it, and kids look at you wierd when you take a hit, then one up the nose.

Old timers will smoke a roach till is a paper ring in your finger tips, or you suck the cabbage out of it. I used to have a buddy that when I'd go to snuff out the rattiest roach you've ever seen, would be like, Whoo, theres like 10 good hits left in there....

Funny stuff...

I haven't done a shotgun in years! My first drunk was on Schlitz Tall Boys and Mickey's Big Mouths. I still have nightmares.
