mine cost me about 450 for the fluid alone, then i had all sorts of other shit done (car wreck from Dec 0 and it cost me about 15 grand cash. I settled for a lot less than that.

| i have some serious reservations about the healthcare plan, however at this point i dont feel like i have enough information to formulate an opinion. i actually tried to read the bill prior to its passage, but after less than 100 pages i was so confused i gave up. i will wait for a dummies guide to attempt to grasp all of it. i basically have 2 major concerns. first, while i am on medicare i currently pay a little more than $300 to supplement the coverage i receive. covering all of these uninsured individuals i am afraid that i will continue to pay the same amount or more for my supplemental insurance meanwhile my services will be limited. i have always paid for health insurance (required) even when it was a financial challenge because i wanted to be able to see a doctor of my choice when i deemed it necessary. i am afraid that by including so many individuals i will have to wait much longer to see a doctor who isnt as good as the ones i see now. second, this country has a significant problem with illegal aliens and because it is impossible to verify all of them they will have access to this healthcare system. it is hard enough to accept that my taxes will be used to pay for other people's insurance when it is so challenging to pay for my own, the idea of people entering this country illegally for the sole purpose of seeking medical care concerns me. |

The scary shit to me is the penalizing of companies who have steller coverage by up to 40% additional taxes. Payouts to doctors treating those wth medicare drops to a point where it simply isn't worth their time (making good doctors harder to come by) and the fact that is unconstitutional. Im for some kind of reform, but I fall in the category of scrap this shit and start over.
