Looking to get my first tattoo. Our 3yr old died in oct and I want to get one in his memory. He had several medical conditions and was in a wheel chair. I was at first thinking of his name with wings and bdate and death date. Now I am thinking the 3E Love logo and his name and dates. Ideas?

Get a happy image that will remind you of him, an image that means something to you. Drop the name and dates idea - you're not likely to forget his name, and there's no real reason to advertise a death to everyone else.

Agree with all of this, especially the dates. You don't need a tombstone tattooed on you. |

X3
Find something he liked and get that tattooed on you. Like if a certain doll like a Buzz lightyear doll was his favorite thing. get buzz lightyear tattooed on you.

Ditto to what everyone said. Sorry for your loss. That would devastate me.

Unless you're intent on being a black gangsta rapper, get something cooler than birth and death dates. You're not gonna want people asking you about the dates and shit. Just get a cool image. I was talked out of death dates many tattoos ago by the artist. It was good advice.. _________________

For memorial tattoos, I think hourglasses and old watch pieces are good reminders to be really live in the moment, and to appreciate the time we have here on this earth. If you really wanted to incorporate your son's birth dates or name into the tattoo, it could be engraved elegantly into an old pocket watch. I am sorry for your loss.

This threads like 6 months old. Some dick was posting shit talk in a bunch of threads so I deleted his posts until he can act like a big boy. Thats why it was at the top.. _________________
