They only had one album, but it had a bunch of great, albeit, sad songs. Here is one whose vocals remind me a lot of Nutshell. This shit brings me back to being a teenager and getting my heart broken for the first time.
fucking love placebo. I discovered them through an ex (then gf at the time) nearly a decade ago. Needless to say 'without you i'm nothing' became my soundtrack for our breakup. The title track, my sweet prince, burger queen, and the crawl are all super haunting and extremely gut wrenching. I actually went to see them live around here once, they played my sweet prince and at the end molko started crying and knocked over his keyboard and left the stage for a few mins. it was gnarly.
