I was so pleased and excited...but I think this is rather big for a first tattoo. My artist couldn't talk to me or I to him since this was on my belly/side/abs and talking would kind of...well...jiggle the stuff. I didn't think it'd be so huge...although I wouldn't mind it expanding when I ever get preggers (stretchmarks don't really run in my family) so it felt long.
I feel like a brave little girl...that's a lot of tat no? |

| You should post a frontal view as well, so we can see the tail end of the koi better. |

| I hope that the artist will use blue for the water...I saw another of his koi pieces and he used black shading for it. I want to get a phoenix on the other side of my body, more pics and update soon! |

I agree looks a bit out of place... it just kina goes into a tail. its hard to explain but it just looks too thick...but all in all a nice tattoo. to each his/her own.
