Hey guys, my name is Edward, I'm 27 years old from Israel.
I have a big fascination with tattoos and when I was younger I designed tattoos for some tattoo studios we have here in Israel.
I did my first tattoo in January 2007, as a mark for a new beginning  - a meaningful tattoo and i'm on the way to do some more!
So, I hope this would be a great community to take part in.
And now a question please;
Do you believe that tattoos can give you any strength?
In the past ppl tattooed symbols on themselves to receive powers from them. Do you believe that through our faith in these symbols, we can strengthen any of our natural characteristics and add to our potential?
...to say it short; Do you believe we can draw power from these symbols we tattoo on our bodies?
And if you think I'm joking, or that I played too much fantasy games and started to believe in it, don't bother to say that.
I do believe in this, for real. I just want your honest opinion on the matter.

Symbols are meaningless, any "power" you would get from them would be the placebo effect.
Oh yeah too many videogames etc.

I think so. I honestly think since I got my gun tatt on my leg, not only am I more bold, personality wise (as the gun is a symbol of myself, long story short) also, my unnerving fear of guns is more.. well, I don't all out fear guns! I can't say as much about my other tattoos.. But.. I think so.
I can see it in my hubby when he has his tattoos covered, he's a lot more.. reserved, and if you look at pictures of him before his tattoos, he was a lot less.. well, he was quiet. Now he's a monster >D

I agree with Boo. Yes on the strength thing. They may not make you physically stronger but they can give you an inner strength. As a heavily tattooed person I'd say, It's an armor, a protection thing. |

Welcome Edward! Everything in our lives has power. Sometimes it is held over us, sometimes we master it.
One of these days I'll find someone local who can do justice to this (not sure if the symbols will show up right...)
