...but has it yet been made?

Imagine a tattoo going from the bottom of the t-shirt sleeve to around the shoulder not showing when you wear the v or o-neck of the t-shirt, like a regular tribal might do.
These types of tattoos are seen a lot but here comes my add-on:
In the middle of this tribal we place a regular sized cross. It does not have to be that large that it immediately takes all of the viewers attention. And it shouldn't be that tiny so you have to zoom in to see that it is actually a cross.

So, has this idea been heard before? I have spent several hours browsing different tattoo galleries and yet I haven't found anything alike.

What do you think? I'd be happy to hear all kind of feedback.

I am really up to getting this when I've found someone to draw a really nice template.

my opinion ?

tribal + non tribal (cross) is a no no no.

tribal is no no no by iself, so adding a bunch of crap to it won't make it look better.

If you want it, go get it. There are millions of tribals and millions of crosses out there inked on people's bodies, but its how you make it YOURS that sets it apart...

Find an artist and have it drawn up. Do some portfolio and studio shopping, thats the first step to a great tattoo. Don't go with the first studio you walk into necessarily either.

It can be done, and maybe it has been done before, but how you make it yours is what matters. And if YOU like it and YOU want it , it doesnt matter what anybody on this forum or anyone you come across says... YOUR the one that has to live with it.

Whats regular sized? :p anyway I'm kinda with Aivanne on this one. I personally don't like tribal but each to there own, What makes tribal worse is when people start adding shit to it that doesn't belong there. Tribal is all about balance and flow and a cross will kill that, unless of course you were willing to stylise it and actually make it part of the tribal. It won't be as obvious as what your tring to do, but it'll look a shit load better than having a random cross in the middle of your tribal. Also lil cobra's right about going to see an artist. don't look for designs on the net, go shop to shop looking at portfolio's till you find a solid artist who's tribal you like, then explain to them what you want. trust me they'll be much more helpful than us.

Thanks for the opinions!

Regular sized, mm Smile I mean it fills the area described. Hmm a bit like THIS just with the shoulder part of the tribal covering the a bit more of the shoulder and where the bottom of the tribal stops at the bottom of a t-shirt sleeve.

And of course it isn't just a shitty random cross without flow. I want it to have shapes in the sides and maybe my first letter (T) in the center of the cross in some twisted and curved font with like a non-filled diamond (from playing-cards) surrounding. Right now I am trying to get some of my ideas down on paper by my own amateur artist hand, but I think I am pretty clear on the outcome yet I am far from there Smile

I've also thought of the tribal to cross the edges of the cross lightly

so you wanna add a T in a cross shaped like a T ?

I'll give you one piece of advice, that I think is pretty much applicable to any tat:

get one piece for one idea.

don't incorporate 20 ideas in one piece, it's gonna look cluttered and crappy.

make it big, space it out.....take advantage of your canvas

Thats not what i meant at all, a cross with tribal spikes on it is still just a random cross and won't flow right,...ok I just started typingwhat i mean and thought against it, just go see an artist.

Yeah, but at least they aren't done with their education. It irks me when I see supposed adults exhibiting awful spelling and grammar.... or realllllly immature word usage.
