I work and go to school in Bellingham. There's nothing like the Summer in the Northwest... Work a bit here and there, then hike out to a random stream in the woods, swim and get inebriated. |

if you don't mind sleeping on a makeshift bed on the floor then i think you are good to go. i just need to ask my room mates but they are chill and i highly doubt they will mind.
any details you can give on length of stay and what not?

You won't regret it... its a lot different then in the states.
B.C. is a blast though, I haven't been up there in 5 years. The wife and I really want to make the road trip again soon. I hear the the Winter Olympics are gonna be heald there. Might be a perfect time/reason to head the way, or depending on what BT decides to do it could turn into a great ink session. Just need a place to stay... last time we camped out in the car 2 of the 5 days. The wife won't let that go... no one said a honeymoon had to have a hotel room, I mean one day we even woke up parked on the "beach" and went scuba diving. Isn't that "romantic". haha |

well, if you were 19 and there to get fucked up, then that explains why you don't really remember gastown....cause for as long as it's been around, it's pretty much just been a touristy trap of trendy head shops... ...at least that's what it was the whole time i was living 'on the coast'....(which is the term for being a vancouverite..haha)...and yeah, vancouver IS a must... another great city north of the 49th parallel....go figure....  |

whereabouts WAS i from is the question....surrey, when i was there....for almost 20 years...yikes, but that was a long time ago...i've been living the good life in the sunny okanagan for many moons...kelowna, to be exact...gotta love the OK...
