meh for someone who loves the culture so much, and is probably one of the most educated people (at least on this messageboard) on the subject of tattoo culture; Especially the history behind the artists who took the medium to where it is now, and those who're now going on to do groundbreaking things with it; It is your DUTY to update that blog constantly and educate the rest of us; Who're salivating at the prospect of getting to kill an hour or two at work. Learning and reading stories about some awesome tattoo artist who has contributed so much to the culture, whom I've probably never heard of, OR should know more about. _________________

I'm just messing with you man, I know that's a lot of work.. it would be extremely hard for me with my schedule to keep a blog current. So, I don't fault you for it at all. Sorry about the pressure, but there really aren't a lot of sites that give you a ton of info about the history of tattooing.. which is a shame. Someone needs to get that info out there and give the people the credit that deserve it. _________________

so I got the second session this past tuesday and I love it. For my third session, my artist and I discussed putting in maybe some rocks or more leaves or even another koi which will go towards my inner bicep and wrap around.
However, do you guys think I can put something more where the waterfall is ? It just looks a little plain for me the more I look at it, although I love how the maple leaves turned out. I know it might be hard since it's already shaded in, but what do you guys think? Here's a bad phone picture, but it's all I have for now.

Looks solid for what it is now would like to comment and give an honest opinion when it progresses can't really get a feel for the artist as of yet ....it is just a Koi but looks solid like to see what he incorporates in the over all tattoo

thanks for the reply sik..I actually like it..it's not that bad, but I completely understand about how it's kind of wasted space..thats what I was thinking. do you guys think there's any way that more stuff can be added in the "empty" space? Like maybe some stuff behind the water, like in shadows? It's gotten a lot lighter already.

I like it. looks like nice work on the koi and the water. So many of those fish end up not looking like a fish...
