|
|
Hello,
I am going to be turning 18 in 4 months and i've always wanted a tattoo to represent me achieving my black belt in tae kwon do. SO, I want to get a tattoo of my black belt on my arm(the belt wraps around my arm, with the two ends crossing on the outside of my arm at my bicep). I have two questions. There is korean lettering on both ends of the belt in gold, and i was wondering if it would be realistic to get the lettering in the tattoo, or if it would be too intricate to do without getting a massive tattoo. Also, with each new rank, they add a gold bar to the tip of the belt on one side, would i be able to go back, say like 1 year from when i originally get the tattoo, and have them extend the end of the belt a little to include another gold band?
Any replies are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kyle |

| How is a black belt like a "cute girl with a willingness to experiment"? i'm not talking like a solid band, there would be two segments that would extend out, like what it looks like when someone wheres the belt around there waist, there are the two ends that extend down. and on those two extending parts is where the lettering and the gold band would be. |

| Have someone draw it one you with a sharpie. See what you think. Anything is do-able. This sounds a little boring to me. You're going to have to explain it alot, and tattoos you have to explain... suck. |

| Tae Kwon Do seems a lot easier than most martial arts to achieve black belt in. I agree with the other guys though, this tattoo will turn out shit man. Having one black belt around your waist is enough, you don't need another permanently tattooed to you. Maybe think of something else that is symbolic of Tae Kwon Do and the effort it required to reach the belt. |

TKD is really easy to get your black belt in, but regardless, I like your suggestion to him to get something else symbolic and showing the effort & skill.
If you do some searching around online for things that are TKD related, I'm sure you can come up with something a lot cooler than the simple belt idea.
Now what you SHOULD do if you're dead set on getting a belt tattooed on you, get it tattooed around your waist and have the ends hanging down on your thigh. Yeah... let's see how much balls you REALLY got _________________ Ink to paper is thoughtful

i'll throw my shitty two cents in. I agree with the above...
I would get some kind of asian style tattoo of an animal that embodies the feeling of the martial art |
