I gotta save up for my side piece, and after that one, I don't know what will be next, but it will come to me in time =o) Thanks for the suggestion though, sometimes I need someone to tell me to chill cause I do have a habit of getting out of hand _________________ Ink to paper is thoughtful

People weren't judging you for WHY you got the tattoos, but you said outright that they're all sketches by your deceased brother. YOU brought that aspect into the conversation. The reason people are saying "I know your brother drew them BUT..." is them trying to not offend you by placing a buffer before their "real" criticism. Your tattoos are obviously deeply sentimental, so we're at least trying to have some tact. If you had just posted them with no back story, people would've chewed them apart with no reservations about your feelings on the subject. At least people are being honest about not liking them and telling you why, isn't that what you were saying "wasn't allowed here" ? _________________

The thing that keeps bugging me about this tattoo is the fact that it doesn't look like the artist made a stencil from your brother's art. It looks like he just kind of free-hand copied it - that's how he was able to mess up the line around the peace symbol. So it looks like it's kind of really an artist's interpretation of your brother's illustration rather than a direct transfer of your brother's art.
But I could be wrong as all hell. |
