Are there really that many more driving problems in the Netherlands? I've never heard such a thing.

The movie Totally Baked is totally stupid but great for reference of weed facts. It claims you'd have to take like 8 or 9 times your body wieght to OD. It's a cute segment with a Martha Stewart look-a-like mixing up overdose cocktails with all of the level one narcotics.
They don't have to legalize it if they'd just take it off the level one list. I've done all the level one stuff. Weed is not even close. |

Percentage wise I couldn't tell you. It's just numbers though. There are more people driving here and in a large city (we just hit like 4 mil or so) that has some of the worst public trans system it's a big deal to me. It would be one thing if you lived in NY and could get by on the subway and taxis. Thats not possible here.

THC needs to be legalized, plain and simple. Every state is having to cut back their police forces right now because of the economy. Prisons are constantly at critical level, and everybody either uses it, has tried it or knows someone who has tried it or uses it.
You cannot die from it unlike alcohol. It really does not hurt anyone and the people who do abuse it would abuse alcohol just as easily.
