I have a faded red playboy bunny tattoo on my arm, and before I get it covered up I thought it would fun as a joke to tattoo hot pink for awhile. The original color is red, but the color has faded a bit anyway to be pinkish as is.

I know the rule is to do darker colors on lighter. I also figure the final color would be a mix of faded red and hot pink, but will the pink be seen at all ?

Plus, if I get it recolored, would that in anyway affect a coverup ?

And for St. Paddy's Day, you could get it colored green and then color it again when the holiday's over.

You may scoff, but Heatmiser and Coldmiser are representative of the ancient battle between the Oak King and the Holly King for dominance of the year. It's quite a profound spiritual mystery there, wrapped in pop culture dressing.
