So if somone has "I kill ni66ers" tattooed across their forehead, and a black person is offended it is the black person who is "wrong" for being offended?
If I carry a sign around town with a picture of your dad that says he likes to moleste little boys, and you are offended, YOU should be trying to figure out why you are offended, as by your logic, its not me with the sign that is offensive???

I am not talking about words, I'm are talking about something symbolic. (Don't make the next comment about a black man hanging from the noose either). Change your sign to "I'm a retard" and you might get more attention.
That comment offends me! |

I suggested that it's wrong to take offense where none was meant. That's quite different from a person who has "I kill Ni66ers" across his forehead, as his obvious intention is to offend, period. _________________ Matt Crunk

Chinese characters perfectly fulfill that first criteria with their simple and timeless beauty. And as for the second criteria, Chinese symbols certainly have excellent potential for expressing a personal or intellectual message in a succinct, yet subtle and somewhat mysterious, fashion. |
