I want to get a back piece as my first tattoo. Is this a good idea or not? I am and art enthusiast and i want to replicate "the great red dragon and the woman clothed in sun" on my whole back. it looks like this:
http://www.zeek.net/i/dragon.jpg
I am wondering the time it takes, money it costs (for a great tattoo artist), and just your opinions on it. thanks guys |

| doesnt that have to do with Satan? Not that im against Satan or anything. I wouldnt recommend a full back piece as a first though. And it would be very expensive. couple thousand more than likely |

do it. You'll enjoy the piece more than getting some crappy ass yin yang on your shoulder blade then wanting to cover it up
it'll take years and thousands of dollars |

| I got a backpiece as my first tattoo, and i couldnt be happier. But i will say it was risky. You must be prepared to endure pain and many, many hours of sitting still in a chair. Its definitely takes alot of commitment. |

I don't like it cause it was in that movie, I just like the painting. It looks amazing and looks perfect for a backpiece. C'mon don't lie it looks awesome. |

Honestly.....I find the concept of a back tattooed on my back to be...odd...... _________________ "Sometimes a Tattoo is Just a Tattoo. Not everyone wants some giant piece of art. Some People just want a Tattoo, small and simple, and that's great!" - Joe Capobianco |

Ok it is a great painting, but I didnt realize it was real. But it has been eatin. You should get it and when you show people be like "Do you See!!! DO you SEE, I am transformed!!!?"
You would need one of the best artists for that to work out well, and If you have the money go for it _________________ It puts the lotion on its skin, or else it gets the hose again |
