I know that I am new here, but reading thru the last 8 pages of stuff makes me think this is definetly not a goos website for people that do want to learn. SOMEBODY has a serious problem with people new to the art. I was looking for a place for a few tips but I don't think that I will be asking them here. Certain posters here mabe need to seek anger management classes? Something...that person is an asshole. Thank you.  |

you're right, it's not a good website for someone who wants to learn the wrong way
hell, I'm wanting to learn, I'm just going about it the right way and I never get treated like shit. I'm respectful and humble, and sincerely interested in the artform. I have learned so much since I joined this site.. and I am truely thankful for that..
oh, and don't diss Badwolf. That man is amazing.

The only problem requiring a copy of the Tattoo license is that not every state requires the artist to be some is the shop which would make it hard. Copy of work would be ok but it is possible to steal a pic and call it your own. Know I was licensed in 1997 in Germany and have not been in a shop since 2000 Kansas is a very closed off place too many artist and shops and no one really wants some one that is not their buddy to work for them. And the Board of Cosmetology requires you no mater what to attend a school or be trained by an approved Artist of their choosing and it is very hard to find a artist here that will look at someone who has tattooed before. I hold a high respect for working out of a shop and would love to work in one either here in Kansas or else where. I have continued to tattoo while holding the highest cleanliness and sanitary standards. Everything is always as it should be. So how would you let some one like me on? I would say in some cases you would ask for a copy of the license of the shop or the individual. If it is a shop license then the only way to get said Certificate would be to work in the shop. Some one like myself would be able to provide a copy of the old license. But it really borders on the integrity of the people using the board. People can always be removed from the board nothing says that they have a right to be here. If a person is passionate about the Art of Tattooing should always be looking to improve their skills as a artist. And remember when you tell some one they should not do something especially with hate and anger the more they want to do it just to prove you wrong, so watch what you say and how you say it.

Not all states require licenses and I don't know about anyone else but identity theft is just too big a risk to post my I.D. But any artist (even the scratchers) should have the opportunity to learn from one another![/quote]
