Updated pics from my second session. About 4.5 hours of shading. I think it is coming out sick!!! Let me know your thoughts.
This is my first tattoo. I think it came out pretty well but you guys have seen more tattoos than I have so you tell me! I'm going back in a couple weeks to get the dark shading done and then a few weeks after that for the colors. Feel free to suggest colors for the flowers. I hope you like it!

Thanks for the replies guys! I have no idea what I want to do as far as color goes. I know the background will be black and gray. I need to figure out a color combination for the 4 flowers. I am pretty sure I want to with a deep purple for one of them. Any suggestions on colors? What might go well together and stand up over the years? Thanks for any input.

purple, blue, burgandy, orange, yellow. Those colors go well together and are interchangable. Use 2 for each flower.

Well I can tell you why I got flowers done. It is a part of a bigger planned tattoo. I am going to do both arms in a floral design and my back, with most likely a dragon. I don't really understand what makes flowers off limits to a man. I think that any tattoo can be done in a masculine or feminine manner. I understand that you may not want flowers on your body but I think they can be done as a part of a beautiful and larger piece. Maybe I will just get some sweet skulls or a cool Harley Davidson tattoo next time so that I can prove my masculinity to you.

bigpaca....36afix is our resident "wet-blanket". If it's not devilish, hard-core or some ghoulish demon dripping blood from it's mouth, then it's weak and gay. Don't pay any attention.

Maybe he would approve if he knew that one of the flowers is actually a demon vampire chrysanthemum...
