People don't get that The Ramones were all about fun, and getting the pretentious BS out of rock'n'roll. It'd be like someone saying that Lemmy and Motorhead have helped shaped their world political views, lol (though I would pretty much listen to anything Lemmy told me)
I remember being a junior high kid and being enthralled with ICP when "Riddle Box" came out. They were juvenile fun, but had a strange narrative quality and enough horror-themed elements that I found them pretty interesting and pretty fun. That said, 14 years later, the joke's grown VERY stale and the fact that they're still around and making new music amazes and befuddles me...... _________________ "Sometimes a Tattoo is Just a Tattoo. What befuddles me is that apparently you can only get a Ringmaster shirt if it is 9 sizes too big and paired with some black demim shorts that are 10 sizes too big, and I think you have to have a freshie as well.. _________________
