| Thanks, bracing for whatever it is by the time it reaches CT on Sunday. Let's hope it fizzles a little by then. I'm just pissed because the storm caused the cancellation of the year's biggest motorcycle event this weekend. |

Not getting anything but a breeze here, and I'm an hour from the coast, but that was to be expected, rarely does Georgia actually get hit. lol
Hope everyone who's in the path stays safe though  Looks like it should be calming down really quickly, so it shouldn't cause too much damage.

New Jersey knows how to prepare itself - it rained ALL day on Thursday to get that ground nice and saturated in advance! Haha. We bought some canned goods and a couple cases of beer  Now we just wait and see what happens... |

long island ran out of gas, batteries, food, generators, candles, flashlights, first aid kits and anything else you'd possibly need in case of the apocalypse. I swear this happens every year and it ends up being scattered showers with some bad wind. fucking alarmists

Good point, except they at least had to go a lot further this time and flying out isn't happening so they loaded up their Escalades and are staying at a Marriott or Hilton Hotel further inland instead!

I'm about 6 blocks from the bay on LI and 2 blocks from a channel and they're evacuating us. I really don't need a flood. Hoping for just wind and rain but mostly prepared for the worst. Stay safe peoples.
