...And therein lies the problem. THEY shouldn't be contacting you, YOU should be hitting the pavement and traveling shop-to-shop, doing the legwork and seeing what's out there. Be proactive, you'll get farther faster.[/list] _________________ "Sometimes a Tattoo is Just a Tattoo. Not everyone wants some giant piece of art. You are advertising very poorly then. You have not posted a single piece of artwork or tattoos you lay claim to.
Lets make this clear about all jobs. They are not coming looking for you. Prince(ss) charming is not coming to take you by the hand and say - you, you are the one.
Otherwise, Freddie as always is the man. _________________ I for one welcome our robot overlords. |

If you have good work, are persistent and a hard worker, it really shouldn't be too tough to find an apprenticeship.
If a shop says they don't take apprentices? Ask if they just want some free help around the shop. Its good experience and it might be a foot in the door.
I went to a place once, and even though they said they personally couldn't give me one, they loved my work and would call around to some shops they know and find out for me.
Just keep hitting those streets. _________________ "I suppose the clock itself will wear thin its time before I am ended at this altar of dying and dying again" |

If you're not a bad drawer, you can always fall back on holding socks or other small articles of clothing. |

My little sister asked today whether "drawing" was spelled with a J or a G... _________________ "I suppose the clock itself will wear thin its time before I am ended at this altar of dying and dying again" |
