| A horse shoe facing up, in any circumstance, is meant to catch luck. |

Basic rule of thumb : Facing up = good luck, facing down = bad luck _________________ "Sometimes a Tattoo is Just a Tattoo. Not everyone wants some giant piece of art. Some People just want a Tattoo, small and simple, and that's great!" - Joe Capobianco |

Generally, solely because the story of the Koi involves swimming up a waterfall to become a dragon. That rule, though, like any other rule really, can take a backseat to aesthtic value and flow/fit on the body _________________ "Sometimes a Tattoo is Just a Tattoo. That's the great thing about tattooing though, there really are no rules. Traditions yeah, really nothing is off limits. |

Well, if that is true in tattooing, than it is true in all aspects of life, which I think makes it false. "Rules" is probably open to interpretation. _________________
