Richmond has one of the best running tattoo convention in the US... I've gone to it the last two years and loved it both times... I can give you dates and times if you'd like but it just happened a few months ago so you'll have to wait a little while for the next one. There are many within driving distance from you though that are coming up???

That's why I LOVE living down here in Florida... We have 7 conventions every year.
Best ones, Coral Springs, Tampa, Jacksonville

| I know theres a convention in Greensboro sept 8-11 but I might not be able to make it was woundering if there was another convention comin round in NC any time soon. OH Catgal where on stong Island you from?? |

richmond is usually the week before thanksgiving and then theres a summerfest sometime in june. so i guess you're gonna be waiting til june for the next one.

November 19th was the 14th Annual Tattoo Convention in Richmond, VA. I'm guessing there will be a 15th around the same time next year. I know it's a long time to wait, but it's an AMAZING convention which you should totally check out. It was a great turnout this year with lots of different artists representing. I got tattooed, and so did all my friends. In fact, a friend of mine started a back piece while he was there, but couldn't finish because of time restraints. The artist was so upset about it, that he gave him his cellphone number and told us to all come visit so my friend could get his work done and we could all stay at his house and party!! The people there are really great and all the artists were above standards. I had to travel a ways to get there, so consider yourself lucky you're so close!
I'm already stoked for next year! |

Richmond convention is this weekend!! Anyone here going? Know of any great artists that will be in attendance?
I know Gabriel Cece will be there, but I am particularly interested in tattooist specializing in the Japanese style (neo-Japanese, SHIGE style). |

i really wanna go to it, but i dont think i will be able to go since i dont have a ride there. and i cant drive myself cuz i dont have my lisence

This is one of my favorite shows on the East coast. TONS of great artists every year. I would just look through the artist listening for who is showing up.
