right so I've been reading and I see there's no technical information to be given. now WHOA. I don't want any, so don't fret, I was just curious as to why none can be given in the public forum, is all...
Anyway? How r you? What were you up to before I lowered you in? |

you know I've noticed that with horror replicas, *since I'm not a tat artist* but I'll spend months researching a project. Say a razorglove like Freddy wears. What's it made of? how thick is the copper? what gauge are all the metal parts? Exactly where is it dirty? and on and on down to all the little details like what kinds of rivets, what they're made out of, everything. But you can spend months and months researching a project, and as soon as you post pictures of it you get people going, "oh wow that's cool. tell me all the details and all the facts and contruction techniques and painting techniques so I can make one too!"
It's like you spend months looking up obscure information, and then people expect you to just hand it over? Nahhhh, I don't think so. I put in the time, you put in the time.

Then there's the fact that with this board and tats, you're talking about health concerns and stuff. A little bit of good information in the hands of a bad person, could honestly get someone hurt, scarred, infected, hepatitis, all kinds of bad things. _________________ www.secondskinstudio.net

An online forum is not the appropriate place to get or give technical information to novices. A mentor is the appropriate place to get that info. There is a tech forum on this site for those who are beyond that level to exchange info, should the need arise. _________________ If you GIVE a man fire, you keep him warm for the day...but if you SET a man on fire, you keep him warm for the rest of his life.
