I broke my wrist riding my bike today and I was just curious how many of you on here have broken a bone before and if so what.

I have broken many bones. Broke my left elbow, my left thumb, and in a car accident, my right humorus IN TWO PIECES!!!  Needed two surgerys and many plates and screws to fix among other things.
You will live, but sorry to hear you got hurt.

i have only ever broken one bone in my entire life, and ironically it happened like 30 seconds after bragging to a friend that I had never broken a bone.... funny how that works.

| I broke my left wrist while rollorblading backwards. Itripped over a rock and my wrist caught the full force. That definately taught me to watch were i'm going. |

I broke 9 ribs, collar bone, shoulder blade and herniated some disks as well as tore all my back and neck muscles in a grain auger accident when I was a kid. Also broke my knuckle on a guys face once. Broke my toe kick starting a motorcycle. Broke my other foot in a fight. I think thats about it.

yup, broke wrist, ribs, herniated 3 disks in my upper back between the shoulder blades, *that's a fun one*
that's about though. I usually sprain things more then a break them.

This is pathetic compared to the rest of you...
My small toe, on my right foot... Three times, though, if not more. The bone swells larger each time, too...
I can still do funny things with my toes, though... I just need to figure out how to flip people off with them. Heehee! That would be so much fun! |

I have never broken a bone in my body. I wouldn't know how it felt, but I hope you are feeling better and that it doesn't hurt too much.

I broke my pinky finger when I was about 10, then I broke my skull when I was about 20. Had a bump on the back of my head for the past decade, still gets sore sometimes too, but no headaches!
