For the 6 month anniverisery of my boyfriend's death, I went and got his tattoo, (2-10) and Now I find out that my mom is sending me to the Bahama's for spring break as a suprise graduation present. I leave on the 25th, and she has signed us up for a Snorkeling lesson. Now everything I read tells me that I should keep the tattoo dry. I am not sure how I am going to do that. I have thought about the waterproof bandaides. Does anyone have any ideas? please post any ideas or thoughts...

Thanks

I also wondered if adhesive would hurt the tattoo? I am trying to think of safe, creative ways to keep my tattoo nice and enjoy the sun and water down there.
Thanks!

Generally a tattoo is healed enough in two weeks that you aren't going to hurt it with water. The sun is the main thing. You will want to keep it out of the sun.
