Just figured I'd post a link. If you were a kid in the 70's you might like it.

| Yeah? Cool. I have a half-dozen copies here. If you have paypal, you can send it to johnnyvirgil (at) nycap.rr.com, and I'll send it off. |

| Really? That guy must be on crack. They usually go down in value after I sign them. |

Very nice.. having not grown up in the 70's, I doubt I'd find the book as awesome as others.
If you don't mind me asking, how'd you get published? _________________ "We shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti." |

You might still like it. Find out what kids did for fun before Modern Warfare 2.
As for the publishing, I've written a humor blog for quite a few years, and I sort of had a built-in readership of maybe a thousand regular readers, so I figured I'd do it myself and see if I could avoid trying to shop it around for a year. I published it via createspace.com, which is owned by Amazon. They do a great job. You can get distribution to everywhere except for libraries. Amazon.com is the big one. It's doing pretty good. I released it right before Christmas and I've sold about 600 copies. Kindle version is doing well, but the Barnes & Noble Nook only maybe 20 so far. If you sell enough copies on your own, they have something called Amazon Encore, where they actually take it and publish it under their own publishing company and put some marketing money and promotion behind it. A friend of mine had that happen with a book he wrote called Mercury Falls, and it's doing well enough so he quit his job to finish up the sequel. My goals are somewhat more modest. I just want to make enough to pick up a Roland TD20. |

thanks for the info I might have to check that out. I don't really have high goals either, I just want to get my writing somewhere available.. but I have a lot of editing work to do before it's ready for that.

| I think that's really cool, I'm sure I can relate to a lot of what's written. I may just buy a copy, too, those were good times growing up then. Congrats and good luck. |
