I started to notice that my tattoo has been bubbled up. Its not crazy bubbling or anything but it is raised and it is ONLY the red that is raised like that it has been 8 days since i got it. Its a little sore barely but a little. I think what my problem was is that i put too much lotion on it and kept it too moisterized, as per the sticky for care. My question is. I used tattoo goo for the first 1.5 days then switched to lubriderm lotion and then yesterday just bought a&D ointment. The tattoo looks good still but the red is bubbled like i said. It said to lay off any moisterizer if any bubbling is that the best advice?
Thanks Eric |

| My tattoos have a good amount of red in them and the red was definitely the last part to heal. It stayed raised for about a week and then calmed down and looks totally normal. I've heard people react to red sometimes. |

| I don't know if red has anything to do with the healing process but I have a red "Medic Alert" tattooed on my forearm and I never seemed to have a problem with the healing process, it's an open wound and will heal differently depending on the area. Didn't one of those sticky's say not to switch products daily? I could be wrong though! Don't Quote me... I'm gonna reread it to see. |

keep it dry, and clean, then visit your artist for a touch up and let them know what happened. _________________ Jamy Carlton
