how about the love is caracters, with him using the girl and you using the boy with banners witch says: LOVE IS
having matching tattoos...
but if you want to go the more traditional way then how about for you a skull with tophat and a tux, and he can put a bride-skull
the wedding cake ornament with the bride and the groom(if i wrote it wrong don't wurry because i can't even write dutch good and i live in belgium )
and ofcoarse thwe weddingrings... |

| My ex husband and I have matching wedding bands tattooed. We just googled "wedding band tattoos". We have simple celtic bands on our ring fingers. Now we don't regret the tattoos, but it really hinders your love life when you have a symbol of someone else's love on your body. |

Thank you both. I know tattoos that remind you of someone can hinder a love life if you aren't together but we don't ever plan on seperating. If you knew our whole story you would understand and agree we are made for eachother. I don't like the ideas of skulls. Sorry. I do like the idea of a banner maybe, maybe with chinese or japanese letters saying Eternal Love. If anyone has anyother ideas I welcome them.
Love is like a rollercoaster ride. If you really love someone you should just hold on and enjoy the ride. |

| Another good way to find designs is to find a real ring you like as inspiration. I have friends that have "eternal love" each one has one word, and in the wedding pictures the tat rings looked great. |

I don't think most serious couples ever "plan" on seperating... but that tattoo is more permanent than any relationship. It's there until the worms are done. _________________ ~Stacey Sharp

I won't comment on if this is a good idea or not... But, my husband's wedding ring is a celtic knot pattern. If you could find some rings like that and use them as inspiration, that may workout for you.

I would investigate this a bit further...from the artists I have spoken to they do not recommend these bands...problems with the ink lasting... _________________ Inked in NJ

| Thank you all for your comments but most of you seem to be pessimists. I guess I would too if I didn't know the whole story behind our relationship. This will actually be my 2nd marriage. I am going to research this some more. Funny thing is I always said I would never get a tattoo that branded me as someones woman. Love changes a lot of things at least true love does. I like the celtic band idea. I also have this idea that I want the symbols for eternal love in the band. If anyone knows where to find symbols like that please let me know. The only thing to say to the rest of you that think this is a bad idea, well I'm sorry you haven't found YOUR true love yet. My husband has been in love with me since I was 14 and he was 16. We are now 24 and 26 years old. We have been together through thick and thin. We have litterally gone through hell with eachother and come out clean on the other side. Some people are lucky enough to find there soul mates. I guess I just happen to be one of those lucky people and I thank god(s) for that everyday. |

You could google image "celtic love knot" or how about using an infinity symbol?

regardless of your relationship, which i will not comment on, I will give this advice, keep it simple, I have seen way too many ring tattoos or just tattoos on the fingers and they are VERY hard to keep, they seep together and become blurry and will more than likely need at least one touch up. A celtic knot is tough enough to do in a larger area with more susceptible skin, i can guarantee it will not last more than a few years and still look crisp and clean, to show a symbol of your everlasting love, keep it simple, it will last!!! _________________ Jamy Carlton
