| I thought I read recently about a couple of members doing a dry wrap heal method. |

| I heard doing that for the first day can help with ink loss but the only time I've done it I couldn't tell a difference either way. Not letting a tattoo breathe for days like the guy I know, seems like it just prolongs the process without any benefit. I actually saw him today and asked him about it. He did one forearm like this and one just a dry heal. |

thats what she said JK
that makes sense, but I thought thats what the lotion was for, so it's not too dried out.
so did you just wrap your shit once a day?
leave it wrapped at night? |

yeah. i didnt use saran wrap for my leatherface piece, its was like glossy medical pads with bandage that was sticky, so no tape or anything. i only did it for 3 days like that. my only other piece i was told to wet heal was my friday the 13th and that was 3 years ago so I cant remember how i did it.
**Id still clean it twice a day, but it was wrapped all day. _________________ Let us pray |

i just got my first tattoo and everything was fine at first but now it is healing very odd, and it is peeling all the time even though i apply lotion often. Is there anything that you recommend? _________________ i write for trace minerals company. |

Peeling, as opposed to scabbing, is what you want. Just don't help it along. You will see flakes of color coming off. That's normal. _________________ ~Stacey Sharp
