|
|
I want to get a tattoo on the inside of my wrist. It will be of my family name. I am a man but worried this might be a female thing? I have no idea but when I googled "wrist tattoo" images almost all of them were wemon wrists with tattoos.
Is a tattoo inside the wrist of family name a girl thing? |

| My take on it would say that it leans toward feminine. You could counter-act that by making the font more masculine - but I agree with 36. Why would anyone want their family name in such an obvious place? Is it a pride thing? Not so imaginative. |

My honey's brother has "RIP Papa" tattooed on his wrist, with his DOB & DOD. They're a little family of hockey players. Not feminine at all. It looks great. I'd go with whatever means the most to you. Just don't get it in Scriptina font with roses around it. _________________ "Horses and children, I often think, have a lot of the good sense there is in the world." |

| If you're getting the tattoo for yourself then it shouldn't matter if it looks feminine or not to other people. If you're uncomfortable and can foresee an issue with you looking down at your 'girly wrist' all the time after getting it done, then don't do it. Get whatever you're OK with getting. I recently got a cross on my lower wrists and I reckon I couldn't look any more badazz. ^_^ |

I agree with what people have said, the spot isn't feminine, but the idea of the tattoo is pretty overdone and not all that creative.
Also, I'm not sure if it's important to you, but for a job interview, that would be easily seen by an employer. |
