Sometimes you either have to wait for a good apprenticeship or do some traveling. A person who really wants to be a lawyer because they would have to move to go to Harvard Law...
You can practice your drawing skills at home but there is nothing you can do at home that can take the place of a good apprenticeship. _________________ lookatthesurfaceofsomethingandyoujustseethesurface, lookalittledeeperandyoufindmoretruth. |

| First, be very wary of anyone with three apprentices. Second, as modifaerie said, travel should not be an issue. You should be willing to go anywhere, and do just about anything to get an apprenticeship. If you aren't, you need to reconsider getting into it. And no excuse anyone can give me for not being able to travel is good enough. If it means anything to you, you will find a way to rearrange your life to make it possible. |
