my 18th birthday is this friday (3/4) and i think a few weeks after that, i'm going to go get a tattoo. i want to get one on the small of my back (surprise, surprise)
i've heard that this is one of the most painful spots to get it done...is that true? my friend just got hers done on sunday and said it feels more like a pinch than anything else. i think i can tolerate pain, but idk about consitant pinching for 45 mins to an hr.
how long does it take for it to heal? what types of restrictions will i have while it's healing?

Pain is relative to the person. What I might find painless might be sure terror for someone else and vice versa. If you really like the image and the placement, you'll be just fine. Tattoo's usually take about 2 weeks to heal. If you have any more questions I would reccomend talking to the artist you plan to have work on you.

It's easy and fine...
Side of the neck
Side of you're abdomen
Stomach
Under arm close to arm pit
These places HURT!!!

all i'm gonna say is be shure thats were YOU want it, i'd say 6 of 10 girls i see have a tat in that area, and i can't help but think they'll regret it, just remember, the whole point of a tattoo is to express YOUR SELF not look cool, because whats cool now, won't be in ten years, so think on it first
