| If im younger than 18 but I have a parent with me will I be able to get a tattoo? Thanks in advance... By the way, I live in Texas. |

| It is most likely legal for you to be tattooed with a parent's concent. But it is still up to the studio owner, as to whether they will do it. |

I'm most likely too late but wait until your a little older.
If not make SURE you get something your going to like 40 years down the road.
All my teenage tats are now coverups...

| Not sure about texas but in NY it is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18 even with the parents concent. They equate it with a parent giving a minor permission to drink Liquor. Its not allowed and illegal , Ive heard of parents being prosecuted for child abuse for having their 16 year old son tattooed. |

i'd also say wait..i'm from texas and know at least 10 people who managed to get tats under age and are now trying to afford getting them covered up...there is no way to know what can happen before you settle into the rest of your life that could change alot of your interests...you might seroiusly regret it, but if you must, get something small and concealable for a start...of course ...a lot of the parlors i've been to won't even do peircings under aged, with or with out parental concent, but i guesse you could try

and by the way..whatever you do, if the pros say no, WAIT don't trust your skin to some scratcher, that, you would undoubtedly regret, if the pros say no, it's for good reason.
