|
Just wanted to say to any of my fellow Jews with tattoos, happy first night of Hanukah, Hannukah, Chanukah, Chaka-Khan-ia, however we're supposed to spell it
In honour of the holiday, enjoy this short documentary about Jews who choose to get tattoos:

And....happy holidays, merry Christmas, happy solstice, Kwanza, or as my Atheist sister calls it, "no-holiday holiday".

| I tattooed a Rabbi and his two sons. The youngest was only 16 and needed a birth certificate. Pops called mom back in Michigan to get her to fax a copy. I was tattooing the older son when they returned. He asked pops what mom thought when he told her they were all getting tattooed. He said, "I didn't tell her we were getting tattooed. I told her we were in trouble and needed his birth certificate. If I'd have told her the truth she wouldn't have driven 30 minutes to get it faxed." |

| While I was getting "Chai" tattooed onto my back, a young Orthodox Jewish guy walked into the shop, he seemed to be doing some kind of research of some sort and just happened to walk in while a Jewish guy was getting the Hebrew word for life tattooed onto his back. High Coincidence in effect! |
