I did see that when he first posted it, there's a fair bit of detail in there too...
Mind you, two 15 hour sessions is pretty harsh! I was in the shop when he did one of his terminator pieces, that one went on into the small Hours. |

Yeah I'm calling bullshit on that one. It's a descent tattoo but no way in hell it took 50 hours.
Maybe three 5 hour sessions at most. |

Fair enough, it took 15 Hours and cost me £500.00
That way I got a decent tattoo, paid the going rate, everyone's a winner.
Works for me... |

Tattoo looks great and the new artist you're going to see is awesome!
That being said, that is a really long time for relatively small tattoo. I think that's about the same amount of time I have had under the needle for a sleeve and both my calves! To be fair, mine are a lot more open/less detailed. |

Cheers all, Looking forward to my sessions with Dave, seeing his work in the flesh is amazing and he's a really nice, humble guy too.
That was an advantage of my first piece, got to chat to David a few times and got booked in with him with only an 8 Month wait which is pretty good as he closed his books a while back.
Yup, Germany is a short hop from here, I think it was about a 40 minute flight last time I went.
I won't be getting any more this Year (except from David obviously) as my bank account is laying in tatters  but next Year I'll be looking to travel to get something else and Marcus could well be an option. |
