That does look sweet. Hoping to get to BC skiing in the next couple years.
I went to the car dealer to use a free oil change certificate and instead leased a new truck. Rates are ridiculously good right now. I had a Chevy silverado 4x4 extended cab 3 years old with 70K that I had 2 years left to pay on, and I have done my best to beat up. Cars last me like 65Kmax. I'm replacing it with a brand new GMC Sierra(upgrade) Crew Cab 4x4, leather, Bose, heated seats, spray in bed liner, remote start, etc, on a 2 year lease, 20K miles a year, for the exact same payment with $984 out of pocket.
My choice was either to keep making my payment on my current truck, start fixing things(replacement 20" tires are like min $1100/set to start), and in two years, own a beat up truck with 120,000K hard miles on it, and have invested cash into whatever goes wrong in the next two years, OR pay my same payment for the next two years, drive a brand new loaded pimped upgraded truck, and then be free and clear to do what I want when times up. I've owned a dozen cars in my life an never came out ahead on any of them. Seems like trading in for the new one is a no-brainer. Should pick it up tomorrow. _________________

How come tents come in bags that are half the size they should be? It's impossible to get the damn thing back in the bag with stakes, cover, etc. without ripping it. They should just come in a plastic box.
thats all |

Need money to buy new car speakers...I think the one in my passenger door finally blew out. They've always been shitty, it was just a matter of time.
I also need money for weed.
...priorities? I guess I don't really need either of these, but I think the speakers come first. |

Roll tighter....
But I agree. Make the bag atleast 35% bigger and put cinch straps around the outside to tighten down once the tent is in the bag.. _________________

| Yeah I took back the Magellan I bought last year. There was no possible way to get it back in the bag without ripping the zipper. Thats leaving the stakes and poles out. I have an older Marmot dome that is small but the bag is ripped. Went and bought a big Coleman Instant tent today. This thing is sweet. |

I bought a couple sleeping bag cinch straps a couple years ago. Just 1" web straps with clips that you can tigheten down. I'll roll shit, then cinch it outside the bag, and I can usually get it in. Those little straps work great for packing in backpacks or anything you roll.
Why the fuck would GMC NOT put a locking tailgate latch on a brand new (loaded mind you) pickup truck. I didnt even think to look, as I assumed every truck that came off the line in the last 10 years had one. Seriously GM, why the fuck is the non-locking part still even being produced. Just fuckin dumb. Now I gotta get a new latch and install it and code it to my keys. Who the fuck would prefer the non-locking model. Fuckin retarded.. _________________

| Anyone been to Fort Myers Beach Florida? Bars to go to or restaurant recommendations? Most of our time during the day will be in a tattoo shop, so I'm just looking for night time hotspots. |

The last four trucks have had it, and since yesterrday, almost every damn truck I see has one. I have a tonneau cover, so I know the lock doesnt protect much, as tehy could break or cut cover, but it keeps honest people honest. I leave allot of stuff in the bed at the Marina in the summer and stay on my boat. I always lock the gate.
Not only do I only use the keyless entry, but out of habit, I remote start the truck while I'm walking to it. Like even if I will be in it in 5 seconds. Just started doing it years ago.
My step-dad doesnt use his auto-headlights on his f-150. I went to move it the other day, and I had to turn the lights on. I asked him and he said "I dont use that".. WTF? I havent turned a headlight on or off in like 15 years. He's had 3 or 4 new trucks in the auto-headlight genre. Why on earth would you turn your lights on and off???
It feel like I should have a Hawaiian shirt on today. Maybe I'll go buy one for boating this weekend.. _________________

Yeah my truck is bone stock, no cover no nothing. I could see it useful if I did or if I had tools in my bed. As a general though I dont even lock my truck, I dont have anything worth taking other than the truck. By the point you have decided to steal mine, you will do it locked or not. I have onstar and gap coverage so they would find it if it was stolen anyways. _________________ People hear what they see - Oddisee |

you should, jay. bc is pretty spectacular.
i took home a man with long hair last night. i swore i'd never do it. i have to say it changed my opinion of men with long hair. maybe it was just that the sex was amaaaazing, but i could dig it.
my best friend, who is one of the sweetest girls i know, went and shaved half her head. dyed it green and got a septum ring. she says she feels sexy now. i don't have the heart to tell her that we all think she looks like a fucking retard. why do insecure people feel that changing their outward appearance will make them happier? she thinks that if she gets "tatted up and pierced like you" (me) that she's going to find this confidence that she's always been seaarching for.. i don't get it. maybe i don't drop enough acid to understand
i sedated my cat so i could rip out a broken nail. poor thing. i shouldn't laugh but god damn it's funny watching a stoned cat trying to limp around. |

Tracking devices can be disabled in a few minutes. There are plenty of new Escalades and Denali's around here with salvaged titles. |

Thats fine, Ill still make money on the deal if it's stolen lol. If my truck is going to get stolen it will be. Locking my doors wont change anything.
I also dont have a decked out truck, its bone stock. _________________ People hear what they see - Oddisee |
