A month later, still finishing my GF's bathroom. We had a delay cause she couldn't pick out tile, but now I'm hammering through it. A smart man would suggest far less complex tile, but for some reason I like the challenge. It's turning out sick as fuck, but I prob have 20 hours into actual tiling right now and 20 to go. No wonder a new bathroom costs $15k to have done.. I'll post pics when I get it wrapped up.. _________________

IMO complicated tile just looks so much better its work every penny assuming you are doing it yourself and not paying to have it done.
I just got home from a pretty rough day. Normally I am 1 of 2-3 people in my position and have another 3-4 senior staff to help out with the daily workload. I was the only one in any position and just got worked. I dont think ive enjoyed a single beer this much in over a year. _________________ People hear what they see - Oddisee |

yeah man, I hate tile. It's such a pain in the ass. The wife wants to do a new tile back splash in the kitchen with lots of cuts and stainless steel inserts. It's going to suck. |

went kayaking last weekend, got a bug bite that didn;t heal right, looked at it closer last night, did a little googling and decided it was time to go see a doctor........ of course i am 3000 miles away from home,,
yep, was correct, got bit by a deer tick and have lyme disease..........should not be a problem since it is not causing any symptoms yet, 14 days of antibiotics should take care of it........

Thats fucked up. I've spent tons of time in the woods and been bit by tons of things. I probably would have been half way to dead before I had a bite looked at. Does it look or feel worse in person? It doesnt look that horrible from here, like I dont think I'd have been too concerned yet. Have you had this before and kinda knew? _________________

i have been bitten by a gazillion different bugs because i spend alot of time outside......i never have reactions to bites which is what made me pay attention to this one, it started out as what looked like a mosquito bite, usually i don't even get a mark from them, so that made me wonder to begin with.,,,,
it itched like a bitch, but i have practice with not scratching things like this,,,,,,,
then it sort of blistered and spread to the size of a dime........so that got me to thinking that i got into poison ivy/oak..........again no big deal, i get that all the time also, and know how to handle it.....especially with the itching....
a week later it was still itching and spread to about the size of a quarter...... directly outside of the actual bite area the skin was normal color and then about a inch diameter out was a red ring.........
we live in the epicenter of deer tick/lyme disease so it is always in the news and i knew by looking at it that it was it.....
i don't even think it exists in washington state, so it was something that the doctor would normally never see...........
google it,,,,,,,,,,it is not something that you want to leave untreated _________________ white by birth ,,,, trash by choice |

| Damn, my bad dude. I thought the photo of the neck piercings and big earrings was of a butchy dike. I stand corrected. My apologies. |

I have not had any piercings in for a minute. Every now and again I put my septum back in. _________________ People hear what they see - Oddisee |

I've easily found 100+ in my house this year; it's the worst I've ever seen it. Luckily they have mostly been dog/wood ticks this year, but Lyme seems almost inevitable anyway. FYI, Lyme is treatable but incurable. |
